The project "Culture meets Science" started on January 14th at the Science and Mathematic High School Yane Sandanski in Gotse Delchev. The headmaster of the school Mrs. Elka Bozhikova and the mayor of the city Mr. Vladimir Moskov welcomed our guests from Belgium, Italy and Poland. After the meeting, We showed our friends around the school base and they visited three interdisciplinary lessons. After the lessons, each country gave a short presentation about their school and introduced us to the activities they are doing. Dimitar Popov, a member of the bird protection organization, gave a presentation introducing us to the birds in the area. Our students Sanya and Stela presented a video shot by them dedicated to the birds in the region. Last but not least we were divided into four teams and the student Ivan Duhov introduced us to his video game closely linked to the topic of our project. The day was full of pleasant emotions.
